staying home on a saturday night. i definitely needed a stay home and watch movies all night kind of night.
currently watching a bond movie. quantum of solace. i love the bond series. i was reading something about this movie the other day. a quote from craig. "bond is looking for his quantum of solace and that's what he wants; he wants closure. ian fleming says that if you don't have a quantum of solace in your relationship then the relationship is over. it's that spark of niceness in a relationship that if you don't have, you might as well give up."
it's nice to know that even bond falls for someone every once and a while. means there's hope for everyone.
there's a bunch of movies i want to see in the theatre right now. for two weeks i didn't have the time to. guess i need to locate a new movie friend. too bad beckie lives so far away...
i can't wait for my spain trip. i really need to get out of here. even for just a little while. change of pace. change of location. change of life. any time i like a guy more than i should and things go awry, i travel. it's that change of space that lets you look at things from a different angle.
self insight: higashi no eden, furi kuri, breakfast at tiffany's, scott pilgrim series. perhaps i should make that a pre-requirement of watching/reading for anyone i feel so inclined to date in the future.
tonight, snacks. a glass of wine. movies. eventually a quick shower leading to a long bath. excellent...
